When I opened my yogurt up, and it’s the Siggi’s brand, there was a note from the owner himself: “I hope you enjoy. Signed, Siggi.” It’s that classic understated marketing that they use, and even though I already bought the product, so I didn’t need to be marketed to, the idea of putting that simple wish on the underside of the lid brought a smile to my face and actually made me happy.
I realized that in life, although it’s nice when we read a message from someone else wishing that we enjoy something, it’s also a reminder to me, and I hope for you too, that in any given moment we can encourage ourselves to enjoy what’s happening around us. Whether it’s a meal we’re about to eat, friends that we’re with, or simply enjoying a walk outside.
