In my home, I have a framed two-page layout from an old magazine called Look that was published decades ago. It’s a spread titled The 100 Best People in the World, featuring the editor’s picks of fantastic individuals. These were actors, actresses, sports legends, and other icons from all over the world. Each person had a little caricature alongside their name and their occupation.
This framed piece hangs near my front door, and every day as I head out, I see it. It’s always brought me joy to see The 100 Best People in the World before stepping outside.
This morning, though, it got me thinking: What about the gallery of the 100 best people in my life? There are so many extraordinary people I know personally who have impacted me in meaningful ways. Reflecting on them makes me happy, too.
If you haven’t recently thought about the best people in your life, I highly recommend it. It’s hard to have a bad day when you start by thinking about the awesome people who’ve made your life better.
