The hit Apple TV series Shrinking concluded its second season a few weeks ago. I was a little late to the party but ended up binge-watching both seasons this past weekend—and I really enjoyed it!
The show is about three cognitive psychologists who work together, exploring their relationships with one another, their families, and their social circles. While it’s over the top in its depiction of psychologists, it’s incredibly relatable in how it portrays relationships and the risks people take to be honest and strengthen their connections.
Whether or not you’ve seen the show, the core message is clear: taking measured risks with the people we care about can deepen and enhance our relationships. That’s such a powerful and meaningful takeaway—and one worth reflecting on.
