Have a Talk With Your Future Self

I saw a cartoon recently of a man talking to what looked like a twin, a mirror image of that same man, except the mirror image was all charred and smokey.

It was actually smoke coming off the top of the charred image’s head, and that second image said, “I’m from the future, you left the toaster on.”

It would be great to be able to talk to our future self and find out what’s going to happen, to avoid obvious obstacles or bad things like leaving the toaster on.

A friend of mine in his seminars goes a step further and says, “We can tell our future selves how we want to feel in the future, how we want the day to go, how we want things to be.”

It is very powerful to think that we can tell our future selves what will happen, how we want the day to go and if you haven’t done that yet, and are interested in trying it, that can be a very worthwhile conversation to have.
